Have you ever heard of a film called The Room? Chances are you haven't but The Room is a film made in 2003 by writer/director Tommy Wiseau and has earned the title as the "Citizen Kane of bad movies." The film stars Wiseau as Johnny, a hopeless romantic who is betrayed by almost everyone he knows despite him probably being one of the most noble and honest people who has ever lived. The Room, which floundered horribly upon its original release, has gone on to cult status over the past few years with regular screenings taken place (Paul Rudd hosts a monthly screening in LA) and has just sold out a 1200 seated theatre for a screening in New York in a few weeks.
Anyway, you can watch The Room as part of Sound Check's second birthday celebration in Spy, Dublin from 7pm tonight (Thursday). Greg Sestero (who plays Mark) will be on hand to sign things and do a Q&A.
