Uncharted one and two so far are just about the most fancinating games i have seen in a number of years. Having seen part one played by a friend was what made me buying a ps3. I cought myself letting me getting killed in part two the train toward the himajlayas a number of times just to admire the adsolutely superb background graphic. The details are second to none. I just hope of more stuff in exactly that sytle.

For me, the factors that make the Uncharted series one of the greatest are, the cinematic feel of each game, the set pieces that get bigger and more explosive, the heart pounding non-stop action and thoroughly engaging stories, the characters that vary from heartfelt, funny to downright evil and of course the unparalleled boundary pushing graphics. Combine this with edge of your seat Multiplayer game modes and maps and it become difficult not to love these games.

After Lara Croft years ago, Uncharted 1 and 2 have given a new life to the adventure genre. If you're fond of treasure hunting, action, humor, amazing sceneries and explosions, look no further. The hero, Nathan Drake is really a cool guy who's personality makes the whole game interesting and funny to play with. Naughty Dog even went the extra mile and created characters with great personalities like Elena, Chloe & Sullie. Uncharted is on of the best, immersive and intuitive games I've ever played, + the online gaming is so great fun! can't wait to play the 3rd episode!

About halfway through playing the original Uncharted I realised what made the game so special – it was a near perfect adaptation of the film “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. I don't mean that it's a rip off – Nathan Drake is definitely not Indiana Jones – what I mean is that playing Uncharted feels like being inside one of the best action/adventure films ever made. Completing each level resulted in an undeniable feeling of cool. Uncharted 2 was the same but better. Uncharted 3 is almost certain to achieve the impossible (in movies or games, even Indy couldn't quite manage it): a trilogy which gets better with each instalment.

Uncharted is the pinnacle of modern escapist fantasy. The structure and strength of the games embody the devil-may-care nature of protagonist Nathan Drake as the game gleefully ransacks the great adventure movies of the 80's for characters and settings with gameplay homaging both Marcus Fenix and Lara Croft. Designed as a rollercoaster ride of action movie set pieces with witty asides throughout, it wears its influences as badges of honour with Drake's cavalier attitude and quips adding extra polish to each stolen gem, dazzling players with their brilliance throughout. Thieves certainly, thankfully they're amongst the greatest thieves of all time.

Years ago I fell in love with Tomb Raider games...then these games came out and just took over. Drake gives you everything Lara never could, and with graphics that look like your really on a mountain, in a jungle or even in a desert the Uncharted series has become one of the fastest selling games of the last decade. I especially love these games for the fact that you get longer game play than most other games. hopefully there'll be more Drake games in the future and with everyday improvements in Gaming technology they'll be bigger, better and more lifelike.

Uncharted has given us a game that truly defined next generation gaming, easy to pick up hard to put down, it took us from our childhoods full of Indiana Jones and Lara Croft action and kicked it into the next generations. Naughty Dog and Sony gave us a game that was full of action but yet had a storyline unmatched by any blockbuster,we cared about the characters and wanted to see where it will lead. I would love to have a chance to talk with the developers and see where the ideas come from and what's next!!

Uncharted has that perfect mix of action and adventure, which defines a really great game. The creators have given us substantial characters combined with thrilling storylines and exciting, realistic gameplay, all of which make up a fantastic gaming experience that I know will be continued with Uncharted 3.

Quite simply the Uncharted series is the perfect game to kill some time.It holds your attention from start to finish; it doesn't fizzle out towards the end like some other games. It's action packed and great fun to play.

Uncharted isn't a one trick pony like so many other games out there. Shooter, puzzler, plot, graphics, tension and an all round general badass!!! The banter makes for an entertaining adventure that actually lasts for a few more hours than other so called blockbusters.

I think i should be picked because I'm a second year computer games development student, and I need to see all the latest games to keep up with technology, and I'm an uncharted fanatic :)

I am a second year computer games development student. Naughty Dog are currently one the leading developers today. The uncharted series is phenomenal-it was groundbreaking when Drake's Fortune was released in 2007-the cinematic experience, the lovable characters, the epic set-pieces, the glorious graphics, the beautiful and varied locations, the flowing and intriguing plots-few games have executed these in the way that uncharted has done, and continues to do with each new instalment. It's a series of games that has intrigued so many on an unimaginable scale, making it the franchise it is today, the best loved franchise around the world.

For me, Uncharted 2 is simply the best PS3 I've ever played. Throughout, it felt as if I were playing a movie, with spectacular action and thrilling story. I absolutely adored the wholly immersive experience, visiting the amazing exotic locations and heart-pumping cinematic sequences - many of which are superior to most Hollywood blockbusters. On top of that, Uncharted is also just incredibly fun to play, making the entire game immensely enjoyable. It would be great if I could go to this event as I love the series and I'm eagerly anticipating playing the third instalment.

The Uncharted games are by far my favourite of this generation. The incredible action is supplemented by compelling characters and a deftly executed story, creating an exhilarating experience. I'd really appreciate the opportunity to attend this event - I just can't wait to try out Uncharted 3, having spent hours playing the beta. I'd love to be able to get a chance to preview the game, as well as meet Richard, whose work I've thoroughly enjoyed. Writing is a hobby of mine, so it would be great to be able to give my thoughts on the game here on entertainment.ie!

Same gameplay in the series, but it has new features in the game. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective, with the player in control of Nathan Drake. Drake will have a large number of different animation sets, enabling him to react according to his surroundings. Drake is physically adept and is able to jump, sprint, climb, swim, scale narrow ledges, wall-faces to get between points, and perform other acrobatic actions. Drake can now take on opponents in more ways than before: hand-to-hand combat with multiple opponents, contextual melee attacks, and new stealth options. Uncharted 3 also features expanded and diverse traversal moves with deep gunplay. Drake can be equipped with up to two firearms – one single-handed and one two-handed – and a limited supply of grenades. Drake can pick up weapons, automatically replacing the existing weapon he was using, and additional ammunition from killed enemies. The player can direct Drake to take cover behind corners or low walls using either aimed or blind-fire to kill his enemies. The player can also have Drake fire while moving. If Drake is undetected by his enemies, the player can attempt to use stealth to take them out, such as by sneaking up behind them to knock them out with one hit, or by pulling an unsuspecting foe over a ledge from which Drake is hanging. The stealth mechanic has been simplified and improved.[7][8] Some areas of the game will require the player to solve puzzles with the use of Drake's journal, which provides clues towards the puzzles' solutions. When enabled, a hint system provides gameplay clues, such as the direction of the next objective

Seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark as an impressionable child pretty much set up my love for the adventuring treasure hunter genre. In gaming the Uncharted games have perfectly mixed the storytelling of cinema with the thrill of action-packed electronic adventure. I'd like to go to the launch as Uncharted has pioneered the the "half-tucked shirt" wearing hero and I'd like to be there to celebrate that.

I would love to win these tickets as me and my boyfriend are both huge fans. Whenever we play the PS3 I always pick Uncharted. After playing the first one together I bought the second one as soon as it came out and he always waited until I was over to play it so I didn't miss anything. What make Uncharted so great are the plotlines which are gripping and creative and the amazing graphics that make it so easy and appealing to play. I also have a slight obsession with collecting all the treasures. :) Please choose me!

Uncharted is the best action packed game with outstanding graphics and an amazing storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The game completely immerses you in its experience that has both the player and the viewer mesmerized by the stunning animations and movie like cut scenes. This is by far my favourite game and my wife even has the hots for Drake. I will be first in the queue to add the third installment to my collection. I would be so greatfull for tickets to the exclusive preview that would result in me gaining major bragging rights over my friends and much to their envy I could be one of the first in Ireland to play the game, which would be a dream come true!!! So please, please, let me have the bragging rights over my friends, I really, really, want to rub their nose in it ;)

When the first Uncharted game came out a friend of mine lent it to me, and I played it all the way through to the gripping end. By the time the 2nd game came out I was on a preorder list for the game, and wow was it worth the wait. it was by far bigger and better in every way compared to the 1st game, and I have plugged this game to everyone I know and anyone who has played it was left gobsmacked with how amazing this game is. I can not wait for part 3 to be released.

The Uncharted series revolutionized the way we look at the modern gaming experience. Its attention to detail, gameplay, characters, story and much more has modelled a truly fascinating world in which players can pick up a controller and feel more connected than their wildest beliefs. The series is an immersive world where players feel every blow, laugh at every joke and raise a smile at every ending. For me, the Uncharted series has proved "greatness from small beginnings" and l cannot wait for the next yarn in the series to unfold. Meeting Richard and playing U3 would be amazing!

uncharted 3 looks like it could be gmae off the year,, its amazin lookin , from the graphics to the characters.. Seeing Drake move is such a joy to watch compared to the tank like animations of the Gears 3 characters. The way Drake climbs and avoids obstacles prove this point well. We know Uncharted 3 has some platforming mechanics and hence commands an advantage but when the question arises of superior animations, Gears of War 3 has no chance against it

Throughout Uncharted 2, I was completely blown away by the entire game - the story was pulsating and the characters 3-dimensional, in more ways than one. I'm an art student and one of the aspects that really stood out to me was the way in which Naughty Dog managed to retain realistic aesthetics, while introducing such a varied colour-palette and interesting art-direction - resulting in a visually stunning game. It would be fantastic to get the chance to attend the event - to meet a ND staff member and get early access to the game would be an amazing experience!

Well I'm a part time games reviewer for Click Magazine and I personally think that the first two uncharted games were some of the best games the PS3 has to offer. By utilising the sheer power of Blu-Ray Uncharted 2 showed gamers an immense landscape folding out in front of their eyes. And with all the advances in gaming graphics Uncharted 3 should be a close competitor for best looking game of the year. I think you should pick me because i have experience with reviewing games and thus should lead to a better quality review in the end.
