Three college roommates circulate a rumour about Kate Hudson's sexual activities. Hudson, who was drunk and incapable at the time of her supposed dalliance, believes the rumour and files for a date rape charge against her date. Sounds promising, but this topical tale soon disappears into a labyrinth of ludicrous plot twists and stale red herrings.
