KILLING BONO: Video Interviews with Ben Barnes, Robert Sheehan, Neil McCormick & Nick Hamm

Movie Feature

21 March 2011 (Movie Video Interview)

KILLING BONO is based on Neil McCormick's best-selling book "I Was Bono's Doppleganger" about his escapades growing up with one Paul Hewson, watching him turn into Bono and then to subsequently try to outdo him with a musical career all of his own. It's fair to say that Shook Up! didn't come close to eclipsing the popularity of U2. Instead, McCormick has become a well-regarded music critic and author and penned his thoughts down and they've since been turned into (in rather exaggerated form) a film called KILLING BONO. The film stars Ben Barnes and Robert Sheehan as the McCormick brothers, as they try (mostly unsuccessfully) to chase fame in the shadows of their illustrious classmates.

KILLING BONO is released on 1st April.

We sent John Balfe along to chat to Ben Barnes, Robert Sheehan, Neil McCormick and director Nick Hamm.
