Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

An absolute delight from opening sequence to the end credits, Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is yet another triumph for the Park/Aardman crew. This time daft inventor Wallace and his smarter sidekick/mutt Gromit are a couple of garden pest controllers. They humanely rid the neighbourhood vegetable plots of pesky rabbits in the run up to the annual Giant Vegetable Competition. However when Wallace decides to use his Mind Manipulation-o-matic to put rabbits off their greens, he accidentally creates a monster. Every scene is beautiful with detail and the script abounds with cheesy jokes, and jokes about cheese. Throw in a love interest for Wallace in the shape of Lady Campanula Tottington (Bonham Carter) and dastardly rival Victor Quartermaine (Fiennes in playful form) and the result is positively chaotic and equally gleeful. There is something for everyone here - unless you are a hungry bunny who is crackers about cheese.
