Teen comedy, in which beauty queen McGregor reluctantly agrees to host French transfer student Perabo, only for the interloper to steal her status as the most popular gal in town. The script is a bit of a muddle, stereotypes abound, and it's all a bit too superficial, even by teen movie standards.
