John Cusack, Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman - how can you go wrong? Quite simple, the words 'John Grisham'. The actors might be excellent, especially Hoffman and Hackman, but Runaway Jury is a pallid legal thriller which lacks verve and authority in its quest for a sharp twist.
