Hard-core chop-socky (of the muay thai school, to be precise) that mocks the arty pretensions of Hero and House of the Flying Daggers. Jaa stars as a young man sent from his village to the big city to retrieve a Buddha's head, who then encounters criminals and a smuggling ring. While it's funny, feisty and bloody, the non-stop action palls after a while.
