Joe Simpleton (Sandler) inherits $40 billion in this remake of Capra's classic Gary Cooper vehicle, Mr Deeds Goes to Town. Hmmm. Not good. In fact, it's no good at all. Turturro is in good form, Buscemi is invariably brilliant, but Sandler displays all the panache and style of Cooper himself. And he's dead.
