Proof, if it were needed, that few of the 'blonde' jokes are actually funny. Resurrecting the one-gag storyline of the original Witherspoon vehicle was bad enough, but attempting to give it a Frank Capra sheen borders on the blasphemous. And if that wasn't bad enough, there's Sally Field to contend with. Boo.
