A group of friends take a trip to Margate in order to scatter the ashes of Jack (Caine); reminiscing is the order of the day, with particular attention being paid to Jack's wife (Mirren). A well-crafted meditation on life and loss, with an excellent ensemble cast that ensures proceedings don't get too mawkish.
