The trials and tribulations of being filthy rich and bored in a WASP-dominated New York milieu are mocked by a sharp script in Steers' directorial debut. The strong cast manage to make characters from what could easily have been caricatures, but Keiran Culkin steals the show as the precocious eponymous hero.
