A rites-of-passage tale featuring drugs, stealing cars and generally loafing around for a bright 'n' sunny summer before our eponymous hero heads to Ireland with the British army, Goodbye Charlie Bright is a more low-key affair than if it had been an American affair. Nonetheless, everyone seems to be having a ball, and the exuberant performances shine through.
