An excellent emotional thriller based on Ian McEwan's novel of the same name in which the religiously-inclined Ifans stalks Craig on the basis of a bizarre shared experience. Ifans is suitably scary, the rest of the cast meet his high standard, and Michell directs with a rare clarity.
