Coffin thieves get something of a shock when they discover the still-living body of Dracula (Butler) inside; undeterred, they accompany their new boss to New Orleans in hot pursuit of Mary, daughter of Dracula's nemesis Van Helsing's (Plummer). Why make a new Dracula flick? Good question, and one that isn't answered by this banal treatment of the myth.
