Steve Martin continues his wretched run of form with this broad comedy which fails to hit a consistent groove. Martin plays the put-upon dad of twelve kids who has to mind house while mom's away. Hilarity, sadly, doesn't ensue, with all the stock conventions of family flick being called into play.
