Buffalo Soldiers

Set on an American army base in Berlin, just before the wall came down, Buffalo Soldiers finds the irresponsible black marketeer Phoenix clashing with Vietnam veteran Glenn over acceptable codes of conduct in peacetime. A tightly-paced black comedy, this film paints such an unflattering picture of the American military, it was held back for two years.
