Disappointing sequel to Get Shorty, with Chili Palmer (Travolta) moving on from movies and into the music business, there to encounter homicidal rappers and cut-throat Russian gangsters. All the elements from the original are in place, but director Gray overcooks everything, particularly the star cameos. Elmore Leonard fans may want to avoid this one entirely.
