Futuristic horror, set in London, in which animal rights activists release a genetically-engineered plague that zombifies most of the planet and in the process gives us a small group of gritty survivors to root for. Hurrah! Rough-edged and realistic, this makes for rare sci-fi - a film that evokes an emotional response from its audience.
