A mockumentary of sorts, with Coogan playing Tony Wilson, doyen of Factory Records and the entire Manchester music scene, including The Hacienda, from 1976 to 1992. So long as you don't expect literal truth all the time, this is an absorbing, adrenaline-charged tale encompassing the rise and fall of Joy Division, Happy Mondays et al.
