Ghost hunter Shalhoub, with the help of two rivals, manages to activate a machine that releases the titular plague in an already haunted house. Scary? No. Funny in an over-the-top, so-bad-it's-good kinda way? At times, yes, but not often enough to rent this patchy, erratic remake of William Castle's 1960 original.
